All the Gospel that's fit to Preach
January 25, 2012 § 2 Comments
Good sermon. I think one of the biggest things Christians often gloss over or do not fully appreciate is eternal life. Christ died for my sins, but, as you said, he also conquered the ultimate defeat, death. For me that is a cool part of the deal! I’m going to live forever! As my bench press diminishes and my vertical jump falls below my shoe size, I recognize that I am getting spiritually stronger as I approach a meeting with our Lord. I love life on this earth and plan to suck the marrow out of it, but I am excited about dying and going to be in the eternal presence of our Savior. Thanks for your message.
I completely agree, Sloane—our life here is a gift, but even more so in light of eternity. Thanks for the encouragement!
